With a solid foundation of primary data, the results are validated in our animal research facilities. MagIC has a purposed-build mouse experimental facility equipped with state-of-the art animal caging and cage processing systems.

An animal facility is crucial in our center to ensure proper care, biosecurity, and biosafety for research involving animals.

There are double-decker flexible isolators for breeding, accommodating multiple germ-free mouse colonies and supporting over 300 mice.
In the gnotobiotic room, there are around 40 niches for colonization, allowing for over 6 experiments simultaneously with more than 250 mice.
The facility focuses on using germ-free mice to establish causal relationships between microbiota and diseases like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), and obesity.
